How do I find all of my lost music?

Hi Hunter
You are using an Apple iPod? so all your music that you purchased from the iTunes store is still on your account in the iTunes store.
Use your computer to log into iTunes. Use your Apple ID & Password to look at your account and see your previous purchases.
In future always keep a copy of your music on your computer or USB Stick or External Hard Drive or CD or DVD.
Cheers

Unable to get music from my ipod to my pc

If you bought all the music from iTunes store, once you plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will ask you 'transfer purchases' or not. And then you can copy the purchased music from your iPod to iTunes.
This way is not work for the CD ripped music and website download music. But you can follow this step by step guide to transfer all the music from iPod to iTunes, including the non-purchases songs. It's easy to understand and works pretty well for my iPod.

Putting music from cd to ipod

#

Download iTunes. It is available online for Mac and PC at the Apple store.
#

Install iTunes on your computer and open the program.
#

Insert the CD you want to import into your CD/DVD drive.
#

Click Import CD at the bottom right hand corner of the iTunes window. Wait for the CD to be imported. Remove the CD from the drive.
#

Plug your iPod into the USB port on your computer. If iTunes isn't open the iPod will launch it for you.
#

Click on the Music tab. It will show you all the music in your iTunes library. Check the box next to the music you want to put on your iPod and click Sync in the lower right hand corner of the window.
#

Wait for your iPod to copy the music from your computer. When it is finished it will say 'Sync Complete.' Safely remove your iPod from your computer !

Downloading music from Itunes

If you really like your music, buy the CD. iTunes is horrible, copy protection etc. It's much better to have an original CD just in case you lose all you iTunes library in an 'unfortunate' power surge.

IVE JUST BOUGHT A LAPTOP,IVE GOT MY ITUNES ON IT AND IT WONT LET ME COPY ANY OF MY MUSIC ONTO DISC.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here> http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I hope this helps

Can i get back my purchased songs?

As restrictive as the iTunes music store is, there is a secret policy in place that will allow you to re-download your entire purchase history in case anything happens to you music collection.
In the event this happens, simply email Apple’s iTunes support group and after a few days you will get the response:
In the event that a customers entire music library is lost, the iTunes Music Store does re-grant the purchases history. Please keep in mind that Apple does not offer protection against the loss of purchases, so this is a one-time exception.
I can verify this is true as well.
