Your using way to much soap
during that whole 1 minute cycle it is detecting suds and trying to rinse the cloths further
cut way down on the soap here
you should be using 1 tablspoon per load
wash one load without anyy soap at all
this should help to reduce your suds lock

How long does it take in a full cycle of wash to dry

Depends on several things. How big the drum is eg 6 kg or 7kg .the spin speed... The material ie. cotton drys faster than woollen items.is it a washer dryer or do you have a separate dryer.normal full load 6kg on a 1200 rpm spin of mixed fibres takes 1 hours 30 mins at 40 c then the dry time can take roughly 1 hour to 90 mins.

My maytag mav6200aww washer stops at the rinse or the spin cycle. However, if I wait about 30 min it will work. Possibly a bad timer? Are they difficult to replace?

If the washer is working properly in the wash cycle & not the rinse or spin cycle, I would suspect a defective timer especially with the delay of 30 mins you described. Replace the timer with this part.

Washer wont advance to spin after rinse cycleand keeps on filling with water does not stop

You might have two problems, first you need to check you're pressure switch(water level) To do this take front lid panel off and blow into same clear hose, there might be blocked, if not then you will need another. Second you also need to check the motor coupling to see this you need to look behind motor

Washer runs an extreamly long time. I do use HE wash liquid. I put it on 25 min quich wash and check on it 30-40 min later and it has 125 min to go??????????

Does your washing machine go to rinse or spin? If it does not there is a problem with the in bulit in heater. Please check underneath. It is possilble that the heater is faulty or a wire has come lose.

Time remaining stays at 1 min for 20 min

Hi,
This may happen if using the Super-eco program.

It is designed to extend the washing time / cycle, but is less intesive in rotations. It's more a long gentle soak than a quick scrubbing action.

Thank you for using Fixya! If this provided a solution, please rate as such. Thanks.
