Most of the Panasonic sets use two STK-392-110 CONVERGENCE IC CHIPS---if it will not adjust both need to be replaced along with any of the blue resistors in front of them that are discolored or burnt.

You can buy both chips on Ebay for less than 12 dollars plus shipping---if you are able to do this repair you can save a lot of money---I can tell you if you know how to solder etc how to do this in most of these sets---I am leaving here in about an hour to do one in my area---

If you cannot do this repair--shop around your area--most shops charge 300-400 for this kind of repair--I do them here for 250 total--parts labor house call--total. Make sure whoever you get to do this repair changes BOTH chips or you will have the same problem again in a few months--After the set is repaired and adjusted it should not have this problem again for 5 to 8 years.

If they say it has to go to the shop--keep looking as any good tech can do the repair in your home in about 1 hour or less. I know as I have done hundreds of these repairs.

If you have any questions or need advice let me know and I will assist you--I am here to help people.

Regards, SD TECH

This is a very common failure on Projection TV sets.
  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.

Picture is green or yellow

Maybe you should have it professionally aligned with the color values it had at the factory or on display,.
when you first saw it. Sometimes a mere temperature change, as many locales had this week will throw
such an alignment out of whack.
