Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

No light on console, lights blinking on controller - won't stop

I can turn the console on, with the console button and the controllers button and it will come up on screen fine. Problem is, the controller is not connecting up with the console properly, the consoles lights around the button (all four of them) keep flashing while the consoles lights do the usual spin but end up with none on, (i.e. no first player light).
Done nothing to have this happen so it's a big pain in the *** as you can imagine.
Any help would be great, just got odst and am only half way through so if i can't get it fixed i'm gonna turn into one crazy ***** haha.
Thanks, Tracii

Try this not sure

Turn your xbox 360 on. Hold the sync button on the xbox 360 until the spinning wheels go away. Unplug your power. Unplug hard drive for 1 minute. Put hard drive in, then power, and it should work.

Hi friend I guess the problem is with the sync, You just have to resync the controller. My one controller won't sync to my 360 while using rechargeable batteries even after hitting the controller and system sync buttons. Yet it works with no problem using normal batteries. I guess resync will help u out.

Plz vote for me.
Thanks

I just purchased my playstation 3. I can't get the Sony dualshock 3 to work. When I plug it in all the lights on the back are blinking but the controller won't to anything

after you plug in the controller, wait till the light under the 1 becomes steady and all other lights stop blinking. once that has happened your controller should be synced with your console. if this does not happen after waiting several minutes, then you have a faulty controller and i suggest to turn it back in. please rate my solution, good or bad.

The Wii turns on but the remote won't connect to the screen...all lights working also, bought a new sensor bar and still nothing...???

Turn on the Wii console, when at the home screen press any button on the wii remote, if the lights on the wii remote remain dark then it needs new batteries.

If the lights all light up at the same time then stop this means you are not synced. Press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time to sync, this will work if they have been synced before.

If your four lights still blink blue then you need to open the little compartment on the console that is right below the disc tray. Inside is a little red button, press the button. Now open your battery compartment on the wii remote and take out the battery, then press the red button inside. Put the battery back in and the controller should sync up. If you are still having trouble you will need to contact Nintenedo Technical Support.

Hope this helped!

you need to sync it with your system. turned of, plug it to your console. Then wait a couple of seconds and turn it on. Once the lights stod blinking and the ligh indicate the number of controller assigned, unplug it.

Xbox wireless controller lights keeps blinking but

If the ring of light keeps blinking, it means that the remote controller was not connected to a receiver which is the XBox 360 console. Try to press the connect button on the console and the wireless controller to sync them together.

Bought a 360 controller and it's not connecting to console

Erm, Your controller is charged correct?
Did you press the manual connect button on the controller (next to the charger port) and on the console? (If it doesn't work I'd take the battery out turn off the console P.S. To completely turn off the console unplug it from the transformer or the wall.) If that doesn't work get a replacement.

I can't use my wireless controllers on my PS3 unless their plugged in and charging. When I unplug them and push the PS3 button in the middle, all four lights just blink about 4 or 5 times and then turn...

plug in the controller before you turn on your ps3 then turn on the ps3 by the system. after the system starts press the ps button on the controller after it stops blinking and only one light is on unplug it. it should be linked together.

Psyclone essentials ps3 wirless remote controller wont connect

just fixed mine. i went to psclones web site ...it doesn't even have the PS3 remote listed a s a product!! however by reading the PS2 manual i figured that if I basically adapted the instructions it might help...I moved the remote to the 3rd slot.. turned off controller switch... held connect button on reciever... turned on controller.... held connect button....held select button ......held down left analogue stick....in no particular order...going back and forth until i noticed the lights had started to go steady... kept holding (30 secs+) Saw a single steady red on 3rd slot...It stayed...Yeh ;O (no clue what was the deciding factor...but theres hope!!) Lesson learned..next time i pay the full price for the Sony remote... Hope this helps
