Changing passwords on a used D 307.

Hi, I hope you can help me. I just brought a used D 307. It has exsisting pin #s and passwords for security and locking the phone etc. Is there a way to reset or clear these so I can use my own passwords and pins to have privacy and security on my phone? Thanks very much and Merry Christmas. Kathy.

Hi

If you changed it and forgot the PIN code please contact your service provider. They will provide you the default PIN code so that you can use your phone.

While you get the PIN code, service provider will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PIN code

This PIN code is FREE. You no need to pay any sum to get the PIN code

If you changed it and forgot the security code please contacts your device dealer. They will provide you the default security code so that you can use your phone.

This security lock prevents thieves from being able to make use of stolen handsets that is why it can only be unlocked by authorized device dealers.

Thank You

Hi.... i am using nokia 2690 how to lock the cell with password ???? plz guide me sir :(

Select Menu > Settings > Security and from the following options:
  • PIN code request or UPIN code request-to set the phone to ask for your PIN or UPIN code every time the phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow the code request to be turned off.
  • Security level > Phone-to set the phone to ask for the security code whenever a new SIM card is inserted into the phone. If you select Memory, the phone asks for the security code when the SIM card memory is selected, and you want to change the memory in use.
  • Access codes-to change the security code (default code is 12345), PIN code, PIN2 code, or restriction password.

Hey!

What you are looking for is a PIN code. If you go under 'security' then change codes you should see change PIN code. If it asks for a old PIN code it should be 0000.

Hope this helped!

Wheres the security pin

You can find the security PIN on the device, at the bottom of the device. But if you are using Win Vista or Win 7, you can select the 2nd option on the page where it asks you for the PIN. The 2nd option would look like: I don't have the PIN, i would rather connect using using security key. This will be shown if you already have some security enabled on your wireless network. If its an unsecured network, The option would look like: I don't want to configure my network now, I just want to connect. Then you can connect with either the security or unsecured.

For further clarifications, revert!
Thanks for asking,

I forgot my pin number

Hi,

The default Password is 1234.However, if you have changed it and wanted to reset it, you need to remember the Changed Pin. There is no Bypass as this is a security measure. There is no Unlock or Hacking Codes. If you remember the place where it was changed, it will unlock itself and you could change the password.

The only solution would be to Contact Garmin. You would need to send them the receipt of purchase. They would charge you $110 for the same.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
