Check all the AC input connections. As the power board is new, the TV should show standby light at least, when you switch it ON.

Check whether there is a line fuse inserted at AC path. Check whether there is a plug-fuse included inside the power plug.

Phillips Television Model: AK01 will not power on when plugged in. Why?

there is a fuse in the back of the set . It is normally a small glass fuse ,fairly short and looks something like a auto fuse. SAFETY FIRST ---ENSURE THAT THE POWER LEAD IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE WALL OUTLET BEFORE REMOVING THE BACK PANEL The fuse will be on the power wires before the transformer.

Fuse blows when plugged in

I assume it's the fuse in the TV that blows. You more than likely have a bad or shorted low voltage power supply. Probably not worth fixing with the cost of parts & labor.

Fuse # 4 2002 f 150

Stop plugging into the console power point with whatever it is that you keep plugging in that is blowing the fuse. The truck is not the CAUSE of the problem. Your defective accessory is. (cell phone charger, radar detector, GPS unit...whatever it is...?)

Tv will not come no timer lite blinks

Things You'll Need:

  • Electrical outlet
  • Fuses
  1. Check that the power cord is securely plugged into the power outlet.

  2. Make sure that the power outlet is receiving electricity by plugging a different device into the plug and turning the power on. If the other device does not work you likely have a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

  3. Replace the blown fuse or reset the circuit breaker as needed. If it happens again, an electrician should assess the problem.

  4. Contact akai Support if Steps 1 to 3 do not solve your problem. Only a trained service technician should attempt to fix the power problem with your television

No power when i plug in a code scanner

Hello Chet.
It's possible that you could have a blown fuse.
The power supply to the data connector is also on the same fuse as the cigarette lighter/power plug.
The fuse is in the #13 slot in the underhood fuse panel.
Hope this fixes you up!
