This doesn't look like the best designed machine in the world for getting access to the drain pump.
You aren't going to get in through the front. Don't attempt to remove the door seals (only bad things will come of this!)
Looking at the diagrams in ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/Webster/5995464004.pdf, I think your best route in is to tip the machine back (careful it doesn't topple onto you) and go in through the bottom.
Your first target is the strainer shown as item 40 on page 6. If that's clear, then look in items 41 and 35.
Use the coins you fish out to buy yourself a celebratory drink.

SOURCE: Door opens on the wrong side
Usually not. If you can you will need a door kit from sears. But in most cases the manufacture does not want to mess with the doors seal, so they dont offer a change.

SOURCE: How to place the spring
are u talking about the spring that holds the rubber gasket on the door? if this is the one your asking about heres how to instal the spring first you need a flat head screwdriver secondly properly seat the gasket allthe way around so that it sits down firmly into the groved slots when you go to install the spring start at the top and make sure that when you put the spring in the hole that is properly seated when you start to get down toward the bottom area you will have to use a flat head to pry the remaining section of the spring over the edge its best to do this as close to the spring section as possible make sure you go around every single spot to assure that you have seated the spring in the right way if you havent it can rip the gasket I hope this opinion helps in your appliace situtation and if i can answer anthing further please message me back have a great day

It appears your dispenser solenoid has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question
