How can I change the margins? for Brother SX-4000 electronic typewriter. Please help me.

Move carrier with the backspace or the spacebar.
Press and HOLD [ALT] while pressing the [4/$] key.
The left margin is now set.

Move carrier with the backspace or the spacebar.
Press and HOLD [ALT] while pressing the [5/%] key.
The right margin is now set.

I have an SX-4000 Electronic Typewriter and use it from time to time BUT I do not know how to reset the margins....basically expand them beyond the norm. Please help - I did do the ALT and then the 4 or 5...


Try this procedure to set and adjust the margin:---- Use the "Space" and "Backspace" keys to set the margins by positioning the carrier where you want each margin. Reset margins


Above the number keys are words in green or blue the margin release, L. mar. and R. mar. are there return to the L. margin, press the alt key with the mar. rel. release them, backspace to the location for the L. mzr press alt and L. margin key, R. margin works the same way.

ABOUT MARGINS


Position the carier where you want the left margin and press the left margin key do the same for the right.
