I was watching a dvd and ejected it with the eject button without quitting, then the screen went black for over 5 mins so i held down power button for 10-15 secs to shut down, turned it back on and it said...

Whenever you have a system that shuts down like that, you can expect to have hard drive problems.

ry accessing the recovery menu 'safe mode'.

Press and hold the power button until the systems shuts off. (wait 2 seconds)

Press and hold the power button again until you here 3 beeps. Let go.

If you have a HDMI cable, plug it up, if you have AV plug it in as well. If you have both settings on your TV, be sure to have them both inserted into the system. Also, make sure that you are switching your TV from HDMI to AV and vice versa.

It should ask you to connect your controller via usb and press the PS button in

the middle of your controller. There will be a menu with 6 options. Try 1-5

If none of this works:

ou will need to replace the HD.

When you replace your hard drive, you will need to have the latest firmware on a

usb stick. Download the firmware from the playstation official website onto a usb

stick. Once prompted by your system you will need to insert the usb stick into the

PS3. Good luck..

You will need 2.5" Sata Hard Drive.

How to replace hard drive

Hi tstafford,

Before you begin any removal or installation procedures:
1. Shut down the notebook. If you are unsure whether the
notebook is off or in hibernation, turn the computer on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the notebook.
3. Disconnect the power cord.
4. Remove the battery pack by following these steps:
a. Turn the notebook upside down with the front toward you.
b. Slide and hold the battery release latch 1 to the left.
(The front edge of the battery pack disengages from the
notebook.)
c. Lift the front edge of the battery pack 2 and swing
it back.
d. Remove the battery pack.
NOTE:
Reverse the above procedure to install the battery pack.

5. Loosen the two PM2.0×6.0 captive screws 1 that secure the hard drive cover to the notebook.

6. Lift the right side of the cover 2 and swing it to the left.

5. Grasp the mylar tab 1 on the hard drive and lift the hard
drive until it disconnects from the notebook.
6. Slide the hard drive 2 to the left and remove it from the hard drive bay.

Green Background with red wavy lines

Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.

Problem #1) Convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Hi there
Don't bother with service pack 3, it will only slow the pc down even more, what you need is a memory upgrade so the machine can perform well, also a better hard drive would be a good idea

Xbox 360

Hi, I hope something from below is useful to you...

Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 are flashing red
- The AV cable cannot be detected

1. Make sure that the AV cable is correctly connected to the Xbox 360 console.

2. Disconnect the AV cable from the Xbox 360 console, and then reconnect the AV cable to the Xbox 360 console.

3. If the four flashing red lights continue to flash, try wiping the metal area of the AV pack with a dry cloth. The metal area is the end that plugs into the console. Wipe the metal area thoroughly, and then try the AV Pack again.

4. If the AV cable is correctly connected but the four red lights are still flashing, substitute a different AV cable if you have one available.

If this is helpful in any way, please rate! Thanks
