Question about Samsung RS267LBBP 26.1 Cu. Ft. Side by Side Refrigerator with Twin Cooling System & CoolSelect Zone

Open Question

I have a RS267LABP side by side Refrigerator. Yesterday, the temp in both the freezer side and the refrig. side started climbing. I unplugged the refrigerator , while unplugged, I took the opportunity pull it out and vacuum all the dust and dog fur from the grill and space under the refrigerator. After about 20 min I then plugged it back in and reset the temps. to the previous levels. After running for several hours, the freezer side seems to have returned to the normal sub-zero temperature that it was set to prior to the trouble. The refrigerator side has only cooled down to around 43F as indicated by the refrig. thermometer sitting on the shelf in side the refrig. Prior to the trouble the refrig. side had been set to 34F the actual temp on the thermometer on the shelf was reading 35F. The digital readout on the door says the refrigerator is now at 56F even though the actual temp is 43F. I would like my refrigerator to work as it did, what can I check or do to fix the problem?

SOURCE: Samsung RS2556 - Refrigerator side is not cooling - Freezer is fine

check the defrost circuit here is a helpful link to a service manual..in it t tells you how to initiate Forced Operation of defrost cycle.
http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/SAM0059.pdf

Press Power Freeze and Fridge Temp. buttons for 8 seconds simultameously to get in the ready mode for a forced
operation.
The display panel will return to normal after 20 seconds in the ready mode.
At the ready mode, press any button(except Ice Type and Child Lock) once to start a pull-down operation, twice for a
defrost cycle for the refrigerator, three times for a defrost cycle for the freezer and the refrigerator, and finally four times
for cancellation of this function.
Another way to cancel this function is to simply plug out and in the power cord.

SOURCE: The temperature reading on the outside door panel flucuates

Could be a fan problem, open the door and hold the door switch in, the fan should start and you should be able to feel air coming out the vents (air flow is not very strong as it comes out many vents so you will feel a cold breeze rather than a strong air flow if it is normal. Also check if you can see any ice nuild up in the back of the freezer as it may be a defrost problem and the air can't flow due to the ice build up, if this the case it will need to be looked at.

I had same issue this past week. Refrigerator up to 45 freezer up to 15. Ice would melt and then everything would get cold again. Ice formed on everything. Next thing you know it was warming up again. I knew the rubber seal on door flap that opens to let ice out warped during summer months because I keep it 78 in summer. Had that replaced today. Temperatures have gone back to normal and stayed ALL DAY (knock on wood). Check door flap seal sticking your hand up making sure you don't push in the water tab. You should be able to feel if it is warped/wavy like an old LP or not. Good Luck.

The freezer is freezing but the refrigerator is not getting cold why?

check the damper door vent located between the refrige and freezer for being iced up and stuck shut,if cold air from freezer can't get past thid door the refrige will warm up,if this isnt the problem, adjust the refrige temp control and watch and see if this makes this door open and close as you adjust the temp of the refrige compartment

GE PROFILE REFRIGERATOR MOTHER BOARD PROBLEMS i REPLACED THE MOTHERBOARD AND IT STILL DOSEN'T KEEP THE PROPER TEMPERATURE. It varies from 36 to 45 degrees.

Go into the diagnostic mode on your touch display .
1) . Press any button on the display 1 time except the temp adjust buttons.
2) Press the temp up and down on both the freezer AND refrig (all 4 at the same time)
3) when 0's show , release the buttons and press any button except for the temp adjust buttons .
4) NOW , fress the temp adjust buttons until the freezer side displays 0 and the refrig side displays 7 . 0 and 7 is for the thermistors test .
5) After 0 and 7 display , press any button again except temp adjust , and this will start the thermistor check .
6) You will have 7 thermistor tests , indicated on the refrig display , starting at 1 , then 2 then .......
7) The feezer display will tell for the corresponding thermistor , indicated by the refrig display , if the thermistor p = pass , s = short , b = bad (replace board)

After determining if or which thermistor is bad , then adjust the display to 1 on freezer display and 6 on the refrig display . This ends the testing procedure and resets the refrig back to normal .
