How many filters does a dyson dc07 have

Hi there, the DC07 has 2 filters. A pre motor washable filter and a post motor filter which will be either a simple pad (like thick cloth) or a Hepa filter (about and inch thick with a plastic housing). The post motor filter should not be washed but the pre motor filter can. As a technician I would recommend replacing every couple of years for best running of your vacuum. The post motor filter is under the clear bin, you can lever the cover off with a small flat blade screwdriver. The washable filter is to the right of the post motor filter inside a removable housing.

My Dyson DC07 vacuum started to run slower after being on for a little while and then would run normally again. I have switched on today and it has just stopped. When I push the start button, on...

The motor running slower was the motor starting to burn out. The "almost start" is the brushes making intermittent contact with the armature in the motor.
Your machine needs a new motor Pam.

My beater bar will not turn. The motor runs but

This certainly suggests the clutch has packed up, although it is possible that the belt that runs from the motor to the clutch has failed (I assume you've checked the other belt, as it's very easy to see). Changing the clutch, and the motor-to-clutch belt, is not a job for the faint-hearted. If you want to see what's involved go to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on DC07 clutch replacement.
