SOURCE: No heat, trouble shooting light has continious flash.

There is a vacuum sensor on most units tied from the exhaust gas fan to the sensor. Does the unit try to start? If the unit's exhaust fails to pull the switch it will turn off after about 30-45 sec after starting. "IT" thinks it's not exhausting and stops to keep from overheating. Do you have this exhaust fan and rubber hose to sensor? Can you see if that fan is turning on start?

SOURCE: Goodman GMS90904CXA Wont ignite, light blinks 3 times

Ok, you either have a inducer fan issue or a pressure switch issue or a plugged vent pipe. The inducer turns on to establish a draft for the exhaust. If it is not working you will get this error code. If the pressure switch does not sense pressure caused by the inducer, it will give this code. If either the intake pipe or exhaust pipe is blocked (even y just a little) it will give you the same error code. If the condensate hose or receptical is plugged, again it will give you this error code. Good Luck!

SOURCE: goodman gmp075-3 led blinks 5 times

I Also have the same and other problems with my furnace model # GDS80703AXBB. First the LED kept blinking 4 times and I too jumped the primary limit, that didn't kelp. After several attemps I moved the wires going to the circut board and everything starting working again. After a week It stopped working again, so I pulled the plug out of the circut board checked all wires for for a bad connection plugged it back in. Now the LED blinks 6 times again I move the wires. Then the LED blinks 3 times. Then the transformer burns out. I have burned out 2 transformers and I have ordered a new circut board.

SOURCE: constant high pitched noise emitting from furnace

Hi,
This is probably a dry bearing in the vent motor. Those motors run at high RPM's and can make a deafening high pitched squeal if they become dry and need oiling.
Some of the motors have oil cups on them for dripping oil into and others;s are much more difficult as you need to guess where the bearing is and try to drip oil down into them or run the oil to them.
Any light weight small motor oil ike a sewr machine oil will work.
Many hardwares have small oil bottles with extending spouts made just for oiling motors for just a couple of bucks...

The other thing that can cause this is if the blower wheel is coming loose and has moved to the side and is hitting the side of the blower housing. Take the bottom cover off and check for play or movement side to side in the blower wheel. Spinning it with the power off by hand may give you a clue as you will hear it scraping the side of the housing.

Furnace will not ignite.

I think you are talking about draft induction pressure switch operation. Make sure the metal orifice located on the draft induction blower is clear. To check, remove the rubber tubing end at the pressure switch and blow into the tubing. It should be easy to blow through it. If it is plugged, remove the tubing from the blower orfice and use a paperclip, inserting it into the orfice to clear the opening. After repairing, and all is hooked up, retry the furnace start up procedure. If the code comes up again, replace the pressure switch.

My goodman furnace just like doesn't ignite because it light and then no fire coming up and then it stop. please help me

If the burners ignite and then turn off it looks likemthe flame sensor is the problem. On the opposite side of the igniter in the burners will be a metal rod, this rod needs to be cleaned with a steel wool pad. Once it's clean turn Furnace back on.

What's your problem? goodman furnace lights, burns 10 secs goes out

Hello, sounds like you have a dirty flame sensor. This is a metal rod on the oppositenside of the hot surface ignitor. turn off power to the furnace and remove the flame sensor, then use steel wool and clean the flame sensor and reinstall. Next turn back power to Furnace.

Goodman furnace wont light, ignitor suspected (part#b1401015)- what does the ignitor ohm out at, and what is the input voltage upon ignition? I get steady 4.9V, then fan turns off-

Notice. I do not mind helping diagnose furnaces although I try to be cautious when giving advice on them. Please bare with me if I ask question. I don't want anyone burning their house down or hurting themselves and a furnace will do both.

You stated that you get a steady 4.9v then the fan turns off. Which fan are you speaking of? Also, the igniter should read 3.8 ohm's if it's good. The furnace should be sending 120 v to the igniter.
I'm not sure the igniter is the problem unit I receive a reply from question.

Tempstar dc90 furnace will not light

Possible solution would be to push the reset button if you haven't already. I have had to do it twice on my dc90 in the last week.

If you look at the glass where you can see the combustion chamber, the glass is oval, follow the long axis of the oval toward the 'top' of the ignition chamber (my unit is laying down, with the blower on the west end and the combustion chamber on the east, as I am facing south). On top of the chamber are two protected spade clips. In between them is the reset. Make sure that the unit is off, press the button, and fire it back up.
