My hp prodesk 405 g1 mt keeps beeping 4 times in a row, pauses, then 4 times again. Repeats this process 4 times and wont boot with the power light blinking red. Help!!!

The beeping is a bios error code. Get the model of the motherboard and get manual to it . it should reference the beep codes to what the problem is.

Wont stop beeping

Could be a memory, video, or virus issue. If the computer boots up and works but keeps beeping then you have a virus. If the computer doesn't boot it's most likely a hardware issue.

MY PC KEEPS BEEPING ALL THE TIME AND MY RESET BUTTON DON'T WORK

I'm assuming that it beeps on startup and wont boot. If so this typically indicates faulty memory, or a bad configuration of the memory, but this can mean many different issues.

12 short beeps and it wont stop rebooting

I'm not sure what 12 short beeps mean, but it indicates something is wrong with the hardware. Check your ram sticks. Found under a panel on the bottom of your laptop. If you have 2, take one out, try to boot, then swap them.

There are other reasons for beep codes, but they tend to be much worse & less likely.

Y does my computer keeps beeping and it wont turn on

How many beeps are you getting and notice whether they are long or short beeps? Beeps tell the technician what is going on with the computer. It could be a number of things going on with the motherboard, or things that attach to the motherboard.

Try removing the power cord, opening the case, then taking out one of the memory chips and sitting it aside. Then plug the computer back up and see if it boots. If not, move the memory chip that is in there to the next open slot, then try booting again. If it still does not boot, remove that chip and set it aside and get the chip you already had set aside and move it into the memory slots trying to reboot. If it boots, mark an x with a ink pen on the chip that is set aside, it is probably bad, then put it into the computer's open memory slot and try rebooting. If it fails to boot you know the cause is the chip with the x on it.

Advent 7105 keeps beeping and boot up ?

Hi,
If your computer is beeping during the boot up phase then you may have a problem with your laptop. Depending on your system model the beeps will tell you what the problem is and from there you can troubleshoot the problem. I wrote a tech article which goes over computer post issues and beep codes. It wont cut on keep making a beeping sound

beeping sound means that you have a bad power supply. Normally when booting your laptop, the power supply supplies enough power to boot to the operating system. You consult HP to replace your power supply in your laptop.

What is ini file error: app path data fail? my laptop wont start

REstart your computer and keep pressing F8 till you get the option to boot in safe mode. IF this works then it means a driver or some piece of hardware you added is conflicting. If it still wont boot i would think bad RAM.
