Make sure that you have installed the correct driver try to print a test page if this works then the driver is OK. What program are you trying to print from? Can you be more specific pls

HiI found the problem after a fault-finding exercise. After reloading software (printer), I did a self test on the printer which printed correctly. This meant that the printer was in order and the software or printer cable was faulty. I opened the printer cable and one wire had come loose, which I re-soldered. All in order.
