Magic chef furnaces were discontinued many years ago. Pull the motor and take it to your local motor shop. They will be able to match it. Furnace blower motors are pretty standard fractional horse motors.

My Magic Chef refrigerator model CTB1722GR is blowing nothing but warm air. Compressor failure???

Good day,
Four possibilities.
1. The condenser cooling fan motor located on the bottom back of the machine between the compressor, and box condenser has failed, and needs replaced. It should be running if the fan in the freezer is running.
2. Loss of refrigerant or a restriction in the system. Testing limited to a qualified tech only.
3. The combo relay overload mounted on the compressor( under a cover) has failed. Most appliance parts houses will be glad to test them for you.
4. Locked compressor. Tech only solution.

PS. If the machine is less than 5 years old, the compressor is under warranty. Contact your selling dealer.

Thank you for using FixYa

I have 210k btu Magic Chef gas fired furnace and I need a model #

Replace the start capacitor. Take an amp draw on the motor when it starts. Compare that with the rating plate for FLA.

Fridge is not cooling or freezing

can you tell me the model # on the fridge please? the motor is running continuously because it's trying to cool the fridge. it may be a few things, the defrost thermostat, the fan motor itself or the compressor.

Evaporator fan

These can be easily fixed. Take the back cover out of the freezer and tap on the fan shaft (you wont hurt it) and squirt a dab or two of oil on the shaft next to the motor. If it loosens up let it run for a few hours and reoil. If its frozen up totally and you cant turn it at all then the motor needs to be replaced. Let me know :-)
