I have a Magnavox converter box. It worked well, receiving all local channels until we had a storm. Now I can only receive one of the local channels, the others say no reception. The converter box model # is TB110MW9

It was an electrical storm.....but one local channel was left untouched. Would it not have removed all channels? I will check the user's guide for a reset........would it be wise just to get a new converter?

Try re programming the channels and making sure it didn't default to cable insead of Anteanna and then do an auto channel scan. If your using the convertor box you should be on channel 3/4 for it to broadcast ..

What kind of antenna do you have and what kind of storm was it?
If the storm had high wind, there is a chance that you need to re-orient your antenna and or clean the connections on it to remove moisture and be sure that they are tight. If the issue was an electrical storm there is a possibility that the converter has been damaged or picked up a stray electrical charge. Consult the owners manual on the converter about the reset feature.

Tv as of sun night says no signal....converter box was working

Re scan your channels. Analog is gone and alot of channels have moved. Just re-run the setup on your converter and it should be fine. The channel numbers may change, but the programming hasn't. Hope this helps

Converter Box Problem

If you are receiving digital signal and channel is fuzzy, something wrong. Only Analog signal is fuzzy. With Digital it is great picture or nothing. For channel 6, check to see if they are broadcasting in digital yet. If they are not, this is why you are not getting a signal. If they are broadcasting in digital, then you need a stronger antenna.

Dish Network Channels Work but Local Television Channels Do Not

Do you have an antenna hooked up? You'll need one hooked to your converter box because the digital signal is so much more difficult to tune in to. This may help:

www.antennaweb.org

If you live closer than 15 miles, rabbit ears
If you live closer than 20 miles, omnidirectional
If you live closer than 50 miles, midrange outdoor (oldschool arial w/ rotator)
Further than 80 miles, you'll need a long range with rotator, perhaps even an amplifier to go with it. Print off what your results were on antenna web and bring it to a RadioShack or a local antenna store and they should be able to point you to the right antenna for your particular location.

Trouble receiving local channels on TV using new Magnavox converter box

Your digital converter box probably does not have an analog pass through that allows the old analog channels to go through to the tv's analog tuner.
