I plugged my camera into the car charger as the battery died, so it blinked and then turned off. when i arrived home, i recharged the battery and tried it on the camera, it didnt work, is it the camera or the battery that got destroyed
The Canon NB-5L is rated at 3.7volts. I don't know how you plugged the car charger into the camera, but if you got the 12volts from your charger on your camera ... you fried it. To check the battery, put a voltmeter (multimeter) across 2 terminals of the battery, it should read between 3.5volts to 4.0volts.
