Question about Dewalt Drills
Joel, the DW9016 1 hour battery charger was recalled due to a safety issue and DeWalt would replace it with a new charger, free of charge.
You should contact the recall center to verify if your charger was part of the recalled units and contact them for fuse replacement guidance, as there are legal issues for providing repair service or adivce for recalled equipment subject to national safety recalls.
Here's the link with the recall notice and the contact information so you can call DeWalt directly and see about how best to address your product concern.
