Honeywell heater turns off after 3 min. Never comes back on

My honeywell fan and heater turns off after 3 min. And never comes back on , the orange light glows with a false sence of warmth. My room was freezing. Now I have a head cold. And I blame honeywell overheat protection thingy in the heater. I just want a little warmth, now I have a stupid heater that never works past 3 minutes. I guess you can un plug it and restart it but , it would be nice to have the heater come on a few times a night by it self. Oh well my heater sucks. Im going to take it apart and try and rig it

It sounds like the temperature sensor has either failed or come loose and is sitting too close to the heating coil. Alternatively, the level-sensor, which shuts off the heater when it is tilted, may be malfunctioning.
If the heater is not sitting level, it will also shut itself off.
In any case, if it is under warranty, return to the manufacturer. If it isn't, a local appliance repair shop should be able to isolate the problem.

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. First thing to do is go to the furnace take off the lower blower door and locate the circuit board turn the power off to the furnace. In the circuit board there should ba a small car like fuse usually 3 or 5 amps check the fuse it is probably blown replace the fuse with the same amperage fuse and then turn the power back on on the furnace and check the operation of the furnace.

How to wire Honeywell thermostat RTH7500 from old Weathertron GE

You have a control board on your furnace, there is a 3 amp fuse there, that 3 amp fuse needs to be replaced. You most likely touched a wire even by accident and blew the fuse. You will have to remove the door \panels to get at it. It looks like a normal car fuse

Honeywell Chronotherm iv fan keeps running even when heat and cool turned off. How do I turn it off?

To turn the fan off, press the "fan key" until it says "auto". This will turn the fan off. When the programs scheduled, changes, the fan will go on again. You have to repeat the fan to "auto" each time the schedule changes.

Honeywell RTH 7500d is not working.

Hi,
If nothing is happening then I am wondering about tje power... If you have access to a digital meter, you should have 24v a/c across the R wire and the C wire...
Did you make sure to turn off the power at the air handler or furnace before unhooking the wires at the t-stat??? If not then you have blow a fuse in the control board or burnt out the transformer...

If you have power on R then jumper to G and the fan shoudl come on... if it does then the t-stat is bad...

This should give you a few things to try and is what I would be doing if it were my service call...
