I have nokia 5230 and i have set the default memory for d storage of text messages as my memory card...now i want to backup those messages in my pc...how to do it?... nokia PC SUITE is only doing d back...

Hi,to be able to save messages the messages in memory cards, Since you said that Nokia PC suite only does backup for phone memory,i would sugest that you save the messages inside the phone memory on your PC, and transfer the messages on the memory storage device into the phone memory so that you will able to save the messages inside the PC.

After saving Possible messages, you can now transfer back the message fromyour PC back tothe phone memory.Just a suggestion.

Hope that helps.

Please don't hesitate to pass your comment.

Thanks for using fixya........

MY PHONE IS SAYING MEMORY FULL AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

It means that theres no enough disk space on your phone. If your phone does have memory card then you can transfer some files from your phone to the memory card e.g. pictures, musics.
If your phone does not support memory card then you have to delete some messages or entries that you no longer need ir simply format your phone but make sure you back up your contacts and some info that you cant afford to lose

hope this help

Message memory too low

Hello Sir,
All incoming messages are by default stored in the Sim Card. In the Inbox, you have to manually move the messages to phone memory. It can only be done one message after the other. When you are viewing the message which you want to transfer to phone memory, select " more " and select " move to phone ". Then it will get transferred to the phone memory. And for the last point, no message can be transferred to the Micro SD ( Memory Card ). You can only store a maximum of 500 messages and that only in the phone memory. After 500 messages are stored in the phone, the next 20 messages will be automatically stored in the sim memory.

Thank you and I hope I helped you.
Have a nice day.

N73 is very slow

Has it always been slow? If not, you could back up all your data (synchronize it to your computer using the software on the CD that came with it,) then perform a hard rest - this will wipe everything off your phone. You can do this through the menus. I believe the option is called "reset to factory settings" or something. You'll then need to copy all the data off the pc back onto your phone. you'll also need to reinstall any applications you installed, this could be bad if you paid for them!

Memory card

Does your phone itself have enough memory to store your videos. If so, put the card back into phone, create a folder in the phone memory and transfer the vids from card to phone. When done, put the card back into PC and format it (Quick Format if poss). When done, put it bach in phone and transfer vids back. Now put it in PC, it should read a card which it formatted itself!
