Question about Samsung 4 Channel Dvr
All 4 of the LED lights are on and I am unable use the recorder. "No Signal" appears on the screen and the manual lists no troubleshooting tips or fixes. I have tried unplugging the recorder for minutes and hours at a time and it makes no difference. Any ideas out there?
Same issue here, all four lights on front panel remain lit. It seems to fail the CMOS start up test. Tried using the RESET button inside the unit on the mainboard, it blinks the lights but they remain on. Tried the white switch on the mainboard which made the Alarm and Record lights go out, but unit still does not function. Removed the CMOS battery and did the same RESET. No joy. All four lights come on immediately once plugged in. All three internal status LED's are on indicating working components. At a loss at this point and disappointed because this product has never worked quite right. At least now we know why it was half the cost of other DVR's.

Same problem here, too! All 4 LED's are lit. Turned off the unit for 1-week. Turned it back on. All 4 LED's are lit and no signal on my VGA monitor. Tried using the method of holding down the MODE button and Ch. 2 button both at the same time for 10 sec. No change. Also tried using the remote control holding down the MODE button abd Ch. 2 button both at the same time for 10 sec. Again - nothing. Still looking for a solution before having to send it into Samsung for repair (which I'd like to avoid if at all possible).

Unplug the DVR for 1 minute. Unplug from DVR from the video monitor. Plug back in, all four lights will come back on, then hold mode and channel two for ten seconds. If you just hold mode and channel 2 from the start it wont do anything. Hope this helps.

You can try holding down mode and channel 2 at
the same time for 10 secs. This should reboot the recorder.
