Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Canon ip3500 printer ink absorber almost full

You are looking at an aprox. 75% strip of your printer, the absorber sits at the bottom right had corner of the machine and it is a long drawn out procedure.
There are instructions for replacing and cleaning ink absorbers on You Tube and also instructions for resetting the printer. It is too involved and lengthy to try repeat here. Try looking at:-

Inkjet Z517 Photo Printer: ink cartrifges won't position when cover raised ac...

Unplug the printer from the power source. Open the cover. Hold the white tape in the middle inside the printer - the other end of the tape is connected to the ink cartridge carrier. Gently, slide the carrier to the loading position in the center. Load new cartridges. Close the cover. Plug printer back to the power source. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.
