For deleting photos from your camera, try to keep a back-up for the photos that you want (on PC) and then format the Memory card and you'll get the stuck photos removed.

for downloading your photos to PC, 1st uninstall all the drivers & software applications related to this product after that go to this website:
http://support-asia.canon-asia.com/
select Digital cameras, then powershot, and select A560 then download drivers & softwares,

if it did not work.... then go back to the same page, you'll find a "firmware update" on the upper right corner of the page, select it and update the firmware of your camera and try downloading files again.

regards

How can I delete unwanted pics from my camera? Not all of them, just ones that aren't wanted.

Thanks

This is not a big issue.
after delting your DISK and installing your OS again removes al r programs from your computer. now you must install the camera EOS software in your system again.
this can be done by using the software disk which come with the camera. even if you dont have the disk the software can be donwloaded from canons site itself.
http://www.canon-asia.com/index.jsp?fuseaction=support&prod_type=dc&country=SG
this s the link for canons site.
thank you. if anythin s not clear means ask me

If you plug in camera through usb and still doesnt show up in my computer. Then problem most likely service. (Start / run / services.msc) From this point you are looking for a service called Windows Image Acquisition(WIA). Double Click. Start service set to auto. And check my computer again with camera plugged in and powered on. And Walah. Double click your camera and view pictures or copy them off to your computer.

Want to retrieve a deleted video

If the video was on a memory card and you haven't done anything to the card since you deleted the video, try this. Do a Google search for "data recovery software" and select a program for your computer and operating system. Put the card into a card reader connected to your computer and run the program.

Hello, I lost the disc for my powershot a560, can you help me? I'm on Windows xp

You can download Canon software from
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_a_series/powershot_a560#DriversAndSoftware

You might want to consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I got a MacBook Pro for Christmas and now I can't find my Solution Disk for my PowerShot A560. Is there a way to install one online?

You don't need any additional software.

Windows 2000 and Windows Millenium (98 ME) are two different operating systems. Either cam won't work with 98 or computer is too old to work with camera. Find a local computer store that does custom computers and ask them for help.
