I hav a magnavox mwc24t5 triple combo. When I put a vhs tape in it spits it out. Sometimes it gets stuck in there and I have a time trying to get it out.

Please check your VHS tape's CONDITION. See if U can play it on another VHS. BE CAREFUL. sounds like a damaged VHS. You might need to take that to the shop. Better to have it checked than damage your materials. Had a similar situation with a DVD/VHS. Finally, the VHS got stuck inside. Thankfully the shop fixed it but my VHS never worked again properly.

I can hear my vhs, but not see it. I have no problem with my other VHS'. How do I fix the tape?

Try a different tape. If it do the same probably your VHS video head is dead. The audio and video uses a different head.

I have PANASONIC TV \ VHS the vhs plays for about 2min then stops. How can I fix it? PLEASE

The tape player has bad belts or a bad rubber drive wheel that drives it in play---no magic here--someone has to open and replace bad parts in the transport mechanism--which moves the tape.

If you can get a tape in hit fast forward and see if that works--sometimes if not used for a long time ff and then rewind a few times will bring it back to life for a short time.

On a tv/dvd/vcr combo the vcr is eating tapes after running a cleaning tape - any thoughts?

Good news and bad news: A simple head cleaning and demagnetization will solve this problem normally. The bad news is that unless you have a wet head cleaning cassette (a new blank VHS will usually do the same thing as a head demagnetizer so you don't need one of those) from over a decade ago, you're going to have a tough time trying to find one. Radio Shack possibly?
Beyond that, though, the best way to clean a VCR's heads, capstans and rollers is to physically open them and use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Obviously the 's kind of impossible to do for the consumer with a TV/VCR combo.

Vcr cuts my tv off after i put the tape in

The VCR is not turning the TV power off. The tape is not playing. I'd guess maybe it needs a cleaning or a replacment.

Magnavox TV/DVD/VCR combo keeps turning off

So after calling a tv repair guy and listening to him tell me about how it is probably something to do with the transistor and it will cost me about 150 dollars to fix ( which I could buy a new tv for that price since it is only a 19 inch) I decided to look online at this issue of turning off after 5-10 seconds. I read about it being an issue with the VCR sensor, so I don't know about it being some LED that you have to replace because I just messed around with a VHS and moving the little white bar thingy on the right just inside the door for the VHS around a bit, and Voila it started working right again. I think maybe my son tripped something by sticking things in there and whatever I touched fixed it. So my advice is to just stick a VHS in and take it back out a few times and play with a few things inside and to the right. It didn't take long for it to work for me.

VHS Recording Tape

not much of a help but sounds like your record head is bad on the vhs heads,

use cleaning tape try that, if that fixes great, if it helps but not fully there, you might have to clean them by hand with very soft paper town and rubbing alcohol rub side to side very easy , if none of the above work you have a bad record head or record board, not worth repair vs cost
good luck

Toshiba MV13P2

since it fast forwards, and rewinds, my first guess (that the take-up mechanism is worn, which also causes the machine to "eat tapes" after it stops) not likely..... the other common problem is misaligned sensors (especially if you recently had a tape jam in it, or found a foreign object, like a pen, or piece of candy in it...... another possibility is that if it's with a particular tape, you may have visible gaps in the coating on the tape, which would trigger the sensors, basically saying "STOP.... END OF TAPE..." there are other sensors and sensing conditions that could cause the same problem....... have the mechanism and electronics looked at by an expert.......
