Reset first.
If fails, Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Reset the player by pressing the Reset button on the back of the player with a non-metal pointed object. If that doesn't work I have attached a link that gives you more information.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I can not find my power cord for my m4002a mp3 player where can i get a replacement cord

To charge it from your computer?
Any usb cable that you can plug into your player should at least charge it

Take it to a computer/electronics shop and ask for a usb cable to fit it.
There are two types, charging and charging/data, with the data cable having all wires connected through so you can put music on your player from the computer.

I checked on eBay and put in "rca m4002 cable".
I found one for under $7 including postage, charging only.

Hi, How do I delete music from my Opal M4002 mp3 player?

if you want to delete music from your Opal M4002 mp3 player, all you need is use the usb of the player and connect to your computer. If the computer recognizes your usb then a folder will pop up and you choose open folder. Then you can right click on the music you want to delete from the player. That is all you have to do.
