Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Camera Problem

I have been reading a lot of posts from people with similar problems. Apparently, when people try to fix this camera, they are told that the parts are no longer carried and are told to buy or upgrade to a new camera. I am interested in hearing more experiences from people on this camera. I work for a consumer rights law firm and we are investigating this. You can contact me at abby1100ny@yahoo.com. Thanks, Abby

SOURCE: olympus fe 370 xd card 2gb formatted memory

As long as the xD card was not formatted it is possible to recover the images that were accidently erased, lost or corrupted. You can go to the following website link and download an image recovery software program that is free of charge. http://www.z-a-recovery.com/ You want to download a program called Zero Assumption Recovery. It is a very simple program to use and many people have had much success in recovering lost images. Data recovery is a booming industry, and many appropriate services and software can be found by searching regional phone and business directories or the Internet for terms such as "image recovery" or "data recovery".

Problem with my Olympus FE-230

When I turn my camera on, the lens goes in and out a few times. Once it's finally on and I look at the screen, everything is blurry. When I take the picture, it's blurry too. If I try to use the zoom to adjust, the lens starts going in and out all crazy and won't adjust right.

Blank screen

The problem you are describing is a problem with one of the chips in the camera that controls image processing. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.

http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.asp

Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product. The cost is $75.85 (if outside of the one year factory warranty) plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

Problems with camera

Hi everyone,

I found you because 10 minutes ago, my camera exhibited the same behavior as all yours. All of a sudden, the red and green lights started blinking on and off and nothing worked. I just tried switching batteries and the camera is working! I am using a couple of RCR-V3 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, which I purchased on Ebay three months ago. Thought I'd pass it on.

Take care,

Rosane.

Lens stuck

I had an Olympus 725 which I bought in Dec 06, this xmas I went home to see my family in Ireland (I live in Australia) and stopped in Thailand on the way back, the camera broke when I was snorkeling, 4 days out of Warranty!!!! Same issues as you guys had. When I got back on the 16th Jan I brought it back to the shop, the guy told me my best bet would be to get onto Olympus directly and explain the situation. I did and they told me to send it in. I wrote a letter of complaint and sent it in with the camera (I also had problems with my XD corrupting itself, and I lost a lot of pic's). Yesterday when I came in from work there was note in my letterbox from Australia airmail saying they had tried to deliver a package to me but there was nobody home. Just found out awhile ago it's a new camera, a 795:) so I'm well happy. Will buy an extended warranty aswell tho, just in case. Sooo my advice is to deal directly with Olympus and not with any shops or agents.

Screen is blank

You tell me that you tried new batteries. Have you tried a set of NiMH batteries? They are the best for digital cameras. Please try a set, preferably ones rated 2200 or higher. If this doesn't help, the lens could be jammed. Hang onto the batteries though, because they are rechargeable and can be used in anything that takes AA batteries.

Zoom card problems

this is also my first posting, and I am having a simular problem with the same camera type. When I place the card in the camera, I get the No Card message. When I use the card in a multicard reader I can view all the images. Since the camera is not detecting a card, i can not attempt to format it
