I noticed that my picture was really getting dim and kinda yellow... especially after buying a new HD LCD TV for the office. I just replaced the bulb last night.. now I have a bright yellowish picture... ugh.
What should I do next?
Hi,It sounds like a light engine problem Sony is having.Basically the light of the lamp goes through tunnels that have mirrors that direct the lamp to 3 main LCD chips,These 3 LCD chips are blue, green, and red they blend to create the image and colors. When they start to fail you'll get color discoloration like what you are getting. You will need to replace the optical block because unfortunately they don't sell the LCD chips by themselves.GOD BLESS YOU!
