My 1994 5 speed chevy cavalier was running great then all of a sudden just died. When I tried to restart it acted like it wanted to but acted like it wasnt get any gas or something. It didnt get hot and it didnt smoke so I dont think its the head gasket. Do you think its the fuel pump?

Fuel filters are a problem with Cavs. as are injctors. sounds like fuel pump or filter though, Good luck with the filter.. man oh man... GM made that impossible.
u have to buy a special little itty ***** tool for 20$ to remove a plastic guard lock from the left side of the filter. Be careful, u break that then u have to replace the whole entire line from the filter to the tank.
Big high five for GM huh?

Chevy cavalier dies

didnt specify the year but some of the older 90s the torque converter clutch solenoid [ tcc ] failing or connector problem you can disconnect it and drive i believe the 95 and down can be replaced by unscrewing it from case --others are inside unit

1994 Chevy Cavalier runs rough with a bunch of codes

code 24= VSS defective or circuit faulty
Code 15= ECT sensor indicates low temperature
Code 66=A/C pressure sensor circuit fault, probably low pressure
Code 19=Fuel pump circuit shorted

I would start with the fuel pump wiring. If it is shorted, the pump may run but not put out adequate pressure due to the voltage drop across the short. Look for some pinched fuel pump wiring. I think you probably fixed the coolant temp sensor (15). The vehicle speed sensor (VSS, no. 24) will cause a host of problems if not working right. The car basically thinks it is standing still and won't give you enough fuel.
