Question about Gateway MX6447 Notebook
I have 4 x gateway laptops all with the same fault.
They all work fine from battery but will not charge.
This is a common fault with them, I have been trying to get a copy of the motherboard wiring / circuit diagram.
Also I have traced the fault to possibly 6 components.
will post again with more info when available

First remove your battery and insert the charger directly to the notebook and try to switch on,thus your battery is not in used.If the problem continue then there is problem with the botton switch or motherboard.
