If you go to this site:
You can either let the site search what drivers you need (If the computer is able) or in the top left you can enter you model number A7V400 MX and in the next drop down menu choose all. that should give you some options to download what you need..

I need a missing driver or software download. i get a message saying "Can't find asussetup.ini. on C:\windows\chipset\asussetup.ini

Well, Chris Hingee has given a nice solution. But if you want to address the issue more efficiently, I'll recommend you to directly try Driver Detective and let the software have a free scan to automatically detect & update the missing drivers. This way you don't have to risk install wrong drivers which might cause severe system issues.

Hope this helps, best regards!

Sound drivers

Oh, yes. It happens when you install an OS. Don't worry, you can easily fix it, for free.

First, head to your PC manufacturer's site. You can also go to your sound card manufacturer's website or that of your motherboard.

There, search for your model and download the drivers. Simply install them then. On your computer manufacturer's site, you will get all the drivers for your parts that you got with the PC.

If you have an HP computer, go to C:/SwSetup/Drivers if available and you may get the drivers for the components. I am not sure about other brands.

Missing drivers

go to the ECS Website ( Google ECS Motherboard Support) The drivers for your motherboard can be downloaded for free and in most cases so can the manual. Also they will be the latest ones for your motherboard. ECS is pretty good about supplying drivers for their boards and their site is easy to navigate.

Motherboard number

If your computer has a model number, then do a Google search using the following string:

(Brand Name) (Model Number) +driver

This will bring up a list of sites (including the manufacturer's) where you can download the drivers.

If it has been constructed from components, then try this site to identify all the drivers that you will need to download.

Run the scan (which is free), but don't pay their fee for downloading the drivers unless you really want to. Just do a Google search using the name of each driver that needs to be reinstalled and include the "+driver" in the search phrase. Slow, but it will get you there.
