When i turn on my HTC- touch it freezes on windows mobile start up screen n takes about 30 mins to go to the home screen n then the touch screen does not work. does anyone know how to fix this?

can you help me on this guys i do the hard reset and the soft reset but still on freezing on start up? what should i do someone tell me that my device is over used should i reprogram it??

my HTC touch Flo touch screen was out of function, i had done hard reset, but window mobile required user to tap the screen to set up window mobile based device. what shall i do next?

You have to execute a "hard reset". The exact method depends on the exact type of HTC phone you have. You should Google for "HTC Touch <your exact phone type> hard reset" and follow those instructions.

Make sure you follow the instructions properly. When it still doesn't boot up, you can always perform a firmware upgrade/reset, that's almost guaranteed to work, but is complicated and might break your warranty (depending on wether you bought the device yourself or got it as part of a package deal from your provider).

whilst the phone is on take the back cover off and disconect the battery this should reset the phone , replace the battery and start as normal. Also the phone slows down if you have not deleted your text message inbox,sent box, deleted box so keep on top of that and clear your cookies if you been on the internet.

I have an HTC Touch Diamond. It started giving me problems with my screen was offset. I had to hit the 4 to get the 1 and couln't hit my keyboard button. It was like my whole screen was lowered. Now the whole touch screen won't work. I still can the enter, home, back and answering buttons. I reset it once and it went to the align screen, it was working off and on for about 30 mins and now back frozen. Help

HTC Canada walked me through a hard reboot - green+red key + reset key. This is erase everything on the phone, but it will then work. Then got to htc canada website and download the windows update which solves the freezing screen problem.

Had a similar problem today. Try doing like this: while the device is off get the battery, the sim-card and the microSD out. Then return them to their places and turn the device on
