Question about Toshiba 57H81 57" Rear Projection Television
I have a Toshiba 57" DLP Projection TV Model # 57H82 that has a fuzzy picture. It recently developed a blurry picture. The picture corrects after I shut it off for a couple of minutes then turn it back on but then resumes to the fuzzy/blurry state after half an hour of running. Also the audio went out as well. It seems to me that something shorted in the main pcb board but I'm not sure. Anyone knows how to fix this.
I have a Toshiba HD LCD tV, model 37AV50U. the screen is black. I still get audio and can change the channels but the screen stays black. It doesn't even show the menu box. Is this something I can fix myself?

I have Toshiba 42 inch DLP and the pic was get blurry colors bleeding. We would turn it on and it would be fine for about half an hour. Then the same thing picture getting slowly worse.
At first we tried opening the sides and sucking all the dust out. That helped for a bit.
I read it might be the color wheel so my husband took the back of the TV apart and found the colorwheel. It was filthy we used a lense cleaner and cleaned it off. Put it all back together works like new!
That saved us so much time, trouble, and money.
Chances are the color wheel is dirty if you are experiencing anything like we were!

You say it's a DLP yet the model number shows as a standard projection, anyway what you seem to have is a Hyper board problem, many shops can repair this Fragile board but it's not for the weekend tv tech to try to do
