Question about Facebook Social Network

No facebook access for more than 3 days

My Facebook account has been inaccessible for 3 days due to "site maintenance"

I've done all the troubleshooting on my end, as well as used other connections and computers.

I've emailed FB and gotten nowhere.

Is there a chance my account is permanently gone?

Can't log on to facebook for 2 days now says account is unavailable due to site issues.

Tina,
This happens occasionally on Facebook accounts. I have recently had the same message and I was offline for roughly 3 days. The error message is a very generic message that Facebook sends out for various reasons. After long discussions with Facebook support I learned that this message will commonly come up when they are performing maintenance on a server that holds the database that your account resides in. They ask that you be patient and your service should return soon.
If you are still unable to gain access to your account within another 24-48 hours you may consider contacting Facebook support. To do this you may need to create another temporary Facebook account.
Best of luck.

I cannot access my Facebook profile page or my Farmville due to a site issue so it says. Please tell me what I did wrong!

Facebook occasionally performs maintenance on their servers. You are most likely receiving this error due to maintenance on a server that holds the database that your account resides within. If your account doesn't become accessible within the next 24-48 hours you may need to contact Facebook support. To do this you may need to create a temporary Facebook account.

Yeah
Are you facing these sorts of problems while accessing your Facebook account? Here is a solution to this problem. As the text in the error message states that your Facebook account is temporarily unavailable, it may be because of because of some maintenance work being done by Facebook or the bandwidth the problem. In either of the cases your account should be active and running within an hour or less. However in case that, your folks are able to access there account and you are still stuck behind with these error message while accessing your account. Then try clearing the the cache history of your browser to solve this problem.
You friends may be able to access the site because they are on a different server. Or somehow accessing the site through a different server because of their browser, ie ) try using google crhome or firefox instead of explorer or vice versa

Hi,

Site Maintenance message usually means that Facebook is making an improvement to the database and after the maintenance is over, you will be able to login to your account without any problem.

Usually, this maintenance process takes just a few hours and affects only few users at a time.

If your "maintenance error" lasts longer than 24 hours and you are still unable to login to your account, kindly report the issue to Facebook support by clicking this link.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

You have to write to facebook, and ask them if there is a problem. We have no way of knowing if your webspace is undergoing maintenance.
