Epsom CX7800 Scanner Printer
My scanner prints from my pc, but it won't scan and print. The light works but the picture that comes out is wierd.

- I appreciate the help, but I think there might be something actually wrong with the scanner light. When it scans only a very small portion of the border of the paper I am trying to copy or scan appears and the rest of the scan job is filled with lines. I don't think it is scanning properly.Thanks for the help though.

Windows XP has its own scanning software found within the control panel under scanners and cameras. This appears to provide a more direct method of controlling the scanner because it is part of the OP Sys as opposed to 3rd party scanner software. If the scanner is installed and it appears as an installed option, then try using this approach instead of the actual scanning software.that came with the scanner.
