You need to go into Bios by pressing F2 right after you turn your computer on. There should be a setting on how you want your computer to work, normal, fast, and something else. Play around with those settings.

Fan slow down and them high speed

change the fan ASAP, since the zooming noise and the slow performance will affect even the processor and you might end up replacing the processor as well if it persists. So get the fan ASAP and problem will be solved.

Why would evap fan running slow

If u turn the fan by hand and it turn then u need a new fan, and i think u are mixing up the fans, the fan inside the refrigerator would be the evaporator fan if that was broken then your compressor would be cold, the fan inside the compressor section would be the condenser fan, if that was defective then your compressor would be hot causing the compressor to short cycle. change the fan and clean your condenser coil and your problem should be gone,

How do I control fan speed?

Keeping the fans clean is especially important, because the fans blow out hot air and bring in fresh air to cool down the laptop.

Fans attract dust, however, which can slow them down, resulting in a hot laptop.

If the laptop overheats, vital parts can cease functioning altogether.

Consequently, keeping your laptop's fans clean is crucial.

The fan speed on a laptop can determine how it operates consistently and reliably.

You can slow it down or speed it up, based on the circumstances.

For instance, slowing down the fan speed may be useful in reserving processes or during a prolonged slow time.

Speeding it up is beneficial in keeping the laptop cool during ongoing use or high-traffic times. For the long term, find a happy medium for regular use, so you won't "psyche" out your computer by constantly adjusting the settings.

Click on the Start menu and select "Control Panel." Next, choose "Performance and Maintenance."

Select "Power Saver."

To slow the fan speed, locate the slider next to "CPU Processing Speed" and slide it down by moving across to the left.

To speed up the fan, move the slider to the right.

Press "Apply" and then "OK," if prompted.

Hope this helps

I have problem with CPU fan. The message I get is "Low speed " a think. Sometimes my computer off. What is the problem. Do I need to replace the fan? What the normal fan speed to be desplayed in...

If you have not checked the fan for dirt etc, then do so. Sometimes it might just be the dirt that is slowing it down.

If all that is ok then refer to this manual on page 2-35 to find out which fan is causing the problem using the BIOS commands.

You can replace the fan if necessary but once you identify if there is a fault.

GE JVM1430 over the range microwave/exhaust fan unit. The exhaust fan (not the microwave cooling fan) all of a sudden has its speed slowed down considerably. The unit vents out the back, not top. ...

Sounds like a strip down of the fan and lubricate the bearings with sewing machine or thin cycle oil will do the trick.
Hope that helps.

My computers cooling fan keeps speeding up and slowing down is that a good thing or a bad thing

I'm assuming your desktop has an AMD processor?
AMD have a process called "quiet and cool" this basically speeds up the fan when the processor is under load and getting hot or slows it down when the processor isn't working as hard.

Rotates in only one direction

There is a small 'slide' switch on the fan body that will reveres the motor. There is a pull chain up there too, pull it once to change speed and again to change speed again.

I think my cooling fans are out

These fans often have variable speeds based on demand, so a change in speed or even stopping may not mean anything.
Look for dust/dirt around the fan vent.
Are there any signs of overheating?
