From the sound of things I think you need to replace your hot and cold water tap washers. this should solve your problem, if you are unable to do this I suggest getting a plumber to do it. Also while they are at it ask them to receed your fittings before putting new washers in, this will make washers last longer. Hope this helps.

Problems with water flowing out of the shower heads

Check the diffuser and screen, try swapping them around to make sure that is the problem. If that is not he problem then the tubes from the exchangers need to be descaled.

Just installed a Moen 3867 hand held shower. There is no water coming out of the head. Water flows just fine from the hose without the head attached. Is there a restrictor plate or something I can...

Usually whenever you do any repairs on plumbing, you dislodge calcium from the inner surfaces of teh plumbing. Check to see if ther is a mesh filter in the inlet side of the head. and remove and clean it. otherwise you could remove it and use a vacuum yo try and remove any deposit that may be in it. If that is unsuccessful,
you can always return it, but always remember to open the fawcett and run it before installing the head.
This is an essential part of any plumbing job. Good luck

. If your local store refuse to replace it Moen will gladly do so with no problem.

They are good like that.

The water was of in my area for most of today now its back my triton shower wont work its turns on but the the water is only driping out

Hi, the reason for no water is you have picked up dirt and sediment in the lines when they turn you back on.You will find aerater on faucets to unscrew and clean the screens, try taking the end of the shower head off to clean out the sediment. This is the reason for no pressure. You may have to wrench the head completely off to clean it. Good Luck,

Ps, After removing it, let the water run to clean the pipes and flush the water heater.
