Casio WK-3500 How to save keyboards/tones

Yes there's a way. Use Registration Memory (I shorten it to: RM) ..
RM have 8 banks and 4 bank numbers. For changing banks, press BANK several times.
Example :
  • choose tone (eg:500)
  • press BANK where you want to store. (eg:1)
  • while holding down STORE button, press registration number where you want to store (eg:3) Release store button. Finish.
Next :
  • choose tone (eg:038)
  • press BANK where you want to store. (eg:1)
  • while holding down STORE button, press registration number where you want to store (eg:4) Release store button. Finish.
Anytime you press RM bank 1 number 3 (one key), the sound is 500
Anytime you press RM bank 1 number 4 (one key), the sound is 038.

Notes:
  • RM not only can save tone, but can store style, overall setting live performance, etc.
  • RM functions are disabled while you are using the SMF player, song memory or demo.
  • RM are also disabled while you are using the floppy disk drive.

What is 3-3-2 beep tone meaning

System doeIf there is one DIMM in the system the memory row/bank may be disabled when there is a memory failure. The system will not boot because it has no memory to use. If the DIMM is replaced with one of the exact same type and size, then the system will continue not to boot. BIOS cannot tell when a DIMM has been replaced with one of the exact type and size, therefore BIOS believes it is still the bad DIMM and will not use it.

Here are two possible workarounds:

1. After replacing the defective DIMM, continue to reboot the system until you hear the "no memory" post beep sequence (3-3-3) during POST (no video display). After three (3) incomplete boots, a "062 three consecutive boot failure. Using default CMOS configuration caches are off" error will occur. At this point BIOS will go back to the default settings and begin to use the new DIMM. However, if you have disabled the 3 boot fail count (this setting may not be available in all servers) in Setup, then BIOS will not turn the DIMM row/bank back on.
-=OR=

2. Remove the DIMM. Power on the system until the "no memory" post beep sequence (3-3-3) is heard. The memory row/bank will now be marked as being empty. Power off the system and put a good DIMM back into the system. The memory DIMM row/bank is re-enabled and the system boots normally.

NOTE: If more than one DIMM (or more than one DIMM set) is installed in the server and one memory (or one memory set) row/bank is disabled due to a memory failure then, the user must go into setup and re-enable the row/bank after replacing the bad DIMM.

Where to find serial number of laptop in bios

Only a few brands of laptop put the serial number in bios. If you are able to get into Windows, there are a number of freeware programs that are able to get the serial numbers. Search Google for "Freeware serial number finder".

I just finished installing Win 8 on a Compaq evo ultra slim after restarting I get error code 0x0000005d what can I do , is my motherboard not compatible its a pentium 4

Go to BIOS, find option 'Data Execution Prevention', and enable it. Moreover, enable option called 'Virtualization Technology (VT)' feature, in a case; you are trying to install Windows 8 from virtualization software like oracle or VMWare.

How to enable above option

To enter in BIOS, restart computer and on very first screen find a message like this:

'DEL to enter setup'

'Press Esc to Enter Setup'

'BIOS Configuration: F2'

'F10 to Enter Setup'

Carefully find any message on your screen and press respective key to enter in BIOS.

Once you enter in BIOS setting, go to Advanced Options and select Processor then No Execute Memory Protection, if not, then Security > Options and Select Execute Disable. Change this to 'Enable' or 'On'.

Save changes and Exit Bios Setting if you perform Windows 8 installation in a new PC, otherwise move on to next step

Enable Virtualization Technology (VT) feature

Go to BIOS setting by following above-mentioned steps. Go to Performance options. Change the Virtualization feature to 'Enable' or 'On'. Save changes and Exit BIOS setup. Proceed to next step if your system supports the security feature. This is how you can solve the issue.

HOW TO ENABLE 289 DIMM D01 is disabled in server 2008.

terrible question; please add more detail

if your system has a dual CPU socket, perhaps you don't have a second cpu (where more memory banks usually require that second cpu socket to be populated in order to use the dimm slots); doubtful, but there could also be a jumper on your mobo

or maybe look in your BIOS; that's where things are enabled/disabled (i.e. server 2008, afik, doesn't have a way to specifically disable a dimm slot)

the mobo (or system) manual may have guidance for memory installation; e.g. sometimes there's a size or slot population type table (or compatibility; i.e. maybe the memory you are installing is dual rank and the system only takes single, thus it appears that the slot is disabled)

USB ports do not work

1.) Check your CMOS/Bios settings to see if any USB ports are disabled.

2.) If not, check to see that USB ports show in your operating system's device manager or settings. Enable them if they are disabled. Otherwise, you may need to reinstall the drivers that came with your model of notebook computer.

If using Windows XP, for example, go to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If the latter is not present and you have USB enabled in CMOS/Bios, you will need to install the drivers. If "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" is present, look within to see if they are all enabled and working properly.
If not, re-install the drivers.

3.) If the above does not work, you may have bad USB ports that will require service by an authorized repair service for your notebook computer.

Keyboard is stuck in numeric mode. Can't type

On the Panasonic Toughbook CF-51 there is a key located on the top right next to the F12 function key called "NumLk" or Num Lock.
Press this key once and the embedded numeric keypad is enabled.
Press it a second time and it is disabled.
How do you know if it is enabled or disabled?
Simple: Observe the LED above the keyboard. If the second light with the square symbol and the number "1" is lit up, then the NumLock is enabled. If that LED is not lit up it is disabled.

Good Luck.
