Question about SanDisk 2GB microSD Memory Card
A red menu screen usually means that there's the wrong version of the software installed. You have to make sure it was made for your specific model of R4, and there are a few out there. There's a great tutorial to set it up on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software on their support page. And I noticed they made a video about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV4sNQf2uS4 But as said already reformat it completely and verify that the sd card itself is in good condition.
If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.
Best of luck!

Insert it into your pc. Let pc recognize it then right click on the drive and format that thing...
if that does not work then you may just have a physically damaged or corrupted SD chip and need to return it
