Tried everything,E5 error shows wont scan or photocopy any anwers

E5 says that the wrong inks are installed or the inks are not installed properly. Many generics dont work in these printers, make sure they are seated properly, or just replace them.

What does 0xEA error indicate?


Do you know how to check ' what is printing'? If you do, please check and delete all unwanted list on the printing queue. Switch it off completely and disconnect all the cables leave it for a few minutes and reconnect the cables and switch on. It should work.

How to fix canon mp258 error code 2,140,2 when i scan douument


please help me....
I m trying to scan my document but it is showing error code 2,140,2 on PC and error code E5 at printer....my catridiges is empty is it because of that reason............

Wont scan


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

When I print, on the paper there is several blue verticle lines at the top of the paper and halfway down and some of the lines are broken. Thankyou Tom


Reset the Printer If there is static interference, or loose connections with the product, this can result in bands or lines in the copy, fax, or scan output. To resolve this issue, check the product connections and reset the product. Make sure the product is on, and then disconnect the power cord from the product.
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the product, and then disconnect it from the computer.
  2. Reconnect the USB cable to the computer, and then reconnect it securely to the product.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, and then reconnect it to the wall outlet.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the product.
  5. Press the Power button (c02062868.gif ) to turn on the product. If you have duplexer try to open it and clean the rollers of the printer and the duplexer. This usually happens if the rollers are dirty.

I can print from my Dell 926 all in one, but it wont scan


Try removing your 926 icon in Printers and Faxes, disconnect the USB cable, restart your computer, reconnect the USB cable, see the 926 and install the driver again. If scan has never worked, you probably need a different driver.

Scanning error - cannot scan error code 2,155,0 ???


i found this while i had the same error msg... apparently its actully the USB cable where its does not suffice

My Lexmark 2500 all in one will scan but always just shoots the paper out and wont print. Today it did print just one picture that I scanned but thats was all. The on off button keeps flashing. I must...

Scanner problem


Try uninstalling and reinstalling the scannner. Scanner's can be tough. Try disconnecting USB cable and reconnecting too. How recently did the scanner work? Try reinstalling the scanner software/driver. Also see if you can trouble shoot by right clicking on scanner icon from control panel, scanner.

My Dell 962 Photo Printer gives error when trying to photocopy.


Hi,

The issue you are experiencing with your printer i.e error 2200 is related to "Scan Carrier Stall error" I believe the steps mentioned below will fix the issue,

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall socket.
  1. Go to www.support.dell.com.
  2. Click on Drivers & Downloads.
  3. Under Option 2: Select a Product as printers .
  4. Locate the printer(s) 962 printer and click Go.
  5. Select an Operating System that is installed in your computer then choose downloads and look for Firmware.
  6. Download and install the firmware, then restart the computer and the printer, however please make sure that you do not restart your computer and the printer when the download and the installation is in progress.
I would appreciate if you could let me know if you have refilled the black cartridge, cause Dell printer often give error messages if the cartridges are refilled and not replaced with an original Dell one. If you have done so please replace the cartridge with a genuine Dell cartridge.
