Scan with the wireless utility on your laptop and see if it detects the signal of the router. Once it shows you the signal , connect to the router with the options given or double click on the signal
hope that helps
Thanks

Wildblue is DSL Internet service provider.
You can change the Internet connection settings of Linksys E3000 manually.
Or you can simply reset the router and reconfigure it by running the CD.

I have just purchased a Toshiba Sattlelite laptop computer and bought the router. My problem is i dont know how to get the router connected to my laptop. I have a desktop and dsl modem but not sure how...

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router.

I just bought a laptop computer and I already had a desktop. My internet provider is Hugesnet Satelite. I bought a Netgear N600 wireless dual band router thinking I could just hook it up to my desktop...

The HN9000 should have an ethernet port. You will require two ethernet cables to connect the desktop to the router.
1. Connect the ethernet cable from the Modem to the Ethernet Input port on the Router (It is generally placed away from the other ports on the back of the router.) 2. Connect another ethernet cord from one of the output ports on the router to the desktop computer. 3. On the laptop, turn on your wireless card. The process for this differs from computer to computer. If you were to provide the model of laptop, I could provide you specific instructions. 4. The network setup should be complete.

I am trying to find the connection for wildblue so that I can hook up a belkin router?

Are you trying to install the router ?
Your internet service provider is wildblue.
First make sure that your computer is able to go online when connected directly to the modem.
If not then you will need to contact ISP and get internet working on modem.
If yes then you can set up the router manually.

At&t usbconnect mercury

It is remotely possible but will be very complicated. You will have to leave the computer with the Mercury powered up all the time and use internet connection sharing to provide access to the other computers. But also you will need to reconfigure your router as a dumb switch since your PC will now be the DHCP server. In short it's not easy and not practical - but it is possible.

Wireless Router use with Wildblue Satelite Modem

You should be aware of a class action lawsuit that Belkin and the complaintent settled recently. The lawsuit was filed complaining that certain Belkin routers did not obtain optimal speeds as advertised.
Belkin has agreed to provide affected customers a discount program to purchase a new router. You will need to search elsewheres for the details.

Lost Wireless Connection to Laptops

the internet port on the router needs to be connected to the Wildblue modem.

everything else connects to the OTHER ports on the router, never to the internet port.

you may need to power cycle both your wildblue modem and your router at this point.
