Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
When I switch on my laotop "acer aspire 4736", the first screen appear "acer impowering poople" . This screen stay probably more than 1 minute and after that windows xp screen shows.Due to this problem my laptop fully start in more than 3 minutes .I am using "xp-sp-3".
To salve this problem, How will I stop acer logo screen in booting?
Or any solution !!!!!!
Well, Firstly this might be a extreme case but is to reformat your hard
drive removing any manufactures partition, and reinstalling the
Operating System, but what i would do first is the go to
start---run---(type this command and hit enter)"msconfig" the system
configuration window should pop up. Go to the boot tab and place check
mark in the box which says "No GUI boot" you mat also change the
timeout seconds there too. hit apply then OK and reboot your system.
hope this works for you. let met know.

this case, first you have to enter setup by pressing F2 at boot time,
as soon as the ACER logo appears in the screen. Then, you will need
to switch the SATA Mode to IDE from AHCI.
Main -> SATA Mode -> IDE
is done to allow Window XP to see your SATA.as an IDE disk and
install the system.
you get the external USB CD/DVD driver to use with a Windows XP
installer CD, connect it to you laptop, switch it on and press F2
again to enter Setup.
time, scroll over to the BOOT menu and press Enter. Scroll down to
the last option USB CD- Rom and then use the F5 key to move it to the
top of the boot list order. Then press Escape and then F10 and finally Enter. The computer will restart and load the CD and you can start
the installation of Windows XP.
Hope this info may help you!
