No right channel on AV2

First, does TV sound without external sources work on both channels?

With the one RCA connected and getting sound, unplug it and plug into other channel. Any sound? If not, remove it and plug the other RCA by itself into the left channel. Sound? If yes, plug it into the right channel. No sound? If not, bad TV input.

If you do get sound on that other channel with a single RCA, then you have either a bad cable or bad source. Reverse RCA's on source and try same test, plugging each RCA into each input on TV one at a time.

If the TV is bad, you will get sound on just the left channel regardless of which RCA you use.

Wire Kenwood GE 7030 equilizer to onkyo tx sr504 receiver

The manuals explain it.

For all practical purposes an EQ or any analog audio processor connects exactly like a Tape Deck - into any RCA pairing that has both an OUT and an IN and can be selected to be in or out of the audio path.

However, on this and just about any modern digital-capable AV Receiver, activation of any external loop that would connect a processor or tape deck would automatically DISable any digital audio sources. The effects of the processor, therefore, can only be used with analog stereo sources. It WILL affect the sound going to all speakers if you use the various Digital Sound Porcessing modes as the extra channels are derived from the stereo channels anyway.

Technics 1310 turntable has left channel (white

There are just two causes, one is the preamp, which can be easily checked by putting the right channel jack in the left terminal. If the sound is normal, then it's likely that the cartridge in the deck is bad, or some wire is loose. However if the sound is still poor then the magnetic cartridge preamp in the amp has a fault. These are normally a single IC, which will have failed. Find the preamp by tracing the wires from the imput socket to the PC board, which may be alone.

Lux Audio 5.1 home theater speaker & Yamaha HTR 5540 AMP

configure ur PC (both OS audio and third party sound driver) for surround sounds. control panel- sounds and audio devices - speaker settings - advanced - speker settings. so this done. make sure u select the 6 input channel - the button is on the right edge near the volume knob. near the vol button there are two buttons for selecting input type with up down arrow. from that u can select the input type this will be indicated on the top front indicator. but with the 6 input channel selected all selections are preceeded. if u select stereo mode u will have left/ right audio only.
make sure u connect the input right. connect from computer to 6 channel input. main, surround, center and sub-woofer.  connect the spekers to main (L/R), rear(surround) (L/R), center and sub woofer to terminal marked sub woofer ouput. this done select like i said before the 6 channel button. that should do it.

No sound on just one channel

Do you have another TV in house that works with this channel correctly? Do you have a VCR (or VCR/DVD combo) that you can use to tune to this channel? I'm wondering if your tuner is going bad on this one channel. Do you have SAP (Second Audio Program) turned on? You may want to turn it on and then check channel for sound. I'm assuming that you're getting your cable feed thru coax and not composite (red & white audio). If you are using composite, try switching the red & white inputs to see if sound comes in. It's possible that cable company is only outputting audio on left or right channel and something is wrong either with one of your TV's speakers or with the cable company's output.

Sound

It's probably the audio amp Ic, which in that unit is a LA7612n...
Replace that and esr the caps locally and you should be good as new.. Otherwise the hissing will eventually be heard on all channels...

Both left and right speakers play audio for right speaker

I think you mean the left channel is out but when you use test tone, the sound comes from left and right channels through the right channel speaker. If this is case, the switching IC is malfuncting. Unit needs service
