    Here is the chat.

I want to run my Nientendo Wii through my Dell XPS One - Can I do that?

    jyackle5:
Hi my name is jyackle I will be helping you.

    rayandtoni:
Great! I sure hope you can help

    jyackle5:
So you want to use your wii on your dell computer

    jyackle5:
Ok on the back of the computer do you have a video input card

    rayandtoni:
No. We have our cable which we use for both tv and internet attached directly to the monitor. However we have two different attachments available with red, yellow and white inputs. One has a USB port connector and the other has a PS2 (I think).

    rayandtoni:
Yes, I already use my computer for TV and it is the most convenient location for use of the new Wii we got.

    jyackle5:
So on the back of the monitor you have a spare set of rca jacks. If they are input you can just hook the wii to that. If the PS2 iis there you will need to un hook the ps2 and plug the wii in whenever you want to use it.

    jyackle5:
May I ask how the ps2 is hooked to it. IS it with the rca jacks.

    jyackle5:
The ps2 hooks up with rca jacks. You should be able to remove them and plug the WII in where the PS2 was pluged in. It sound like you have a RF modulator. I will get a Picture and tell mw if that is what you have.

    jyackle5:
A Ps2 In the playstation game system. That is why I kept asking. Ok now I need to get more info. Is there a coaxal cable on the back that the cable feeds it with.

    rayandtoni:
A coaxal cable on the back of what?

    rayandtoni:
I guess I don't know what PS2 is - my husband thought that was the name of the type of plug which is on the opposite end of the inputs - it cannot be disconnected it is a one piece deal - almost like an extension cord. Another has a USB port on it

    rayandtoni:
I am not certain what you are asking - the Ps2 is one one end of the "TV input devise" and the red, yellow and white inputs are on the other. It is freestanding, not a part of the monitor.

    rayandtoni:
No. The inputs are not on the back of the computer. It is a separate "TV input device" (that's what Dell calls it). It has the red, yellow and white on on end and the PS2 on the other

    jyackle5:
Is there a coaxal Tv cable on the box that hooks up to the monitor.

    jyackle5:
Ok I understand now you have a cable modem. This is ease to fix now. What you need is a Rf modulator. What the modulator does is let you hook a game system to your device if you do not have rca jacks on the device. I will give you a link for one.

    jyackle5: http://www.frys.com/product/5099515?site...

    jyackle5:
How it hooks up is the input fron the wall goes to the input on the modulator. The output from the modulator goes to the device you have now. Then you just plug the rca jacks in the back of the modulator.

    jyackle5:
Then when you turn the Wii on it will over ride your input and just play the Wii. When you turn Wii off you can watch the tv or what ever else you would like.

    jyackle5:
    Yes

    jyackle5:
As soon as you turn the power on to the WII it will over rides the input from the cable. It will go through the modem and to the screen.

    jyackle5:
Yes print out after you close session. IF you are asking where you can get an RF modulator you can buy at wallmart in electronics, Radioshack, Frys. Anywhere you can buy a TV almost. You do not need something fancy just one that is around $20.00.

    jyackle5:
Click on this link. That is under linedhttp://www.frys.com/product/5099515?site... Now click on the picture to see what it looks like. If tou click on pic. It will get bigger for you.

    rayandtoni:
OK, thank you. Do you want me to end session before I do that?

    rayandtoni:
Is that all we need to as for a "modulator"? Also, can you describe what they look like to send me to someplace on the internet where I can see one?

    rayandtoni:
Sounds good - I sure hope it works. I want to print this out - should I do it before or after we end the session. Also, are you going to lead me to the Rf modulator?

    rayandtoni:
How does the Wii show up on the screen ?

    rayandtoni:
So the cable goes directly into the modulator and from the modulator there is a cable that goes to the modem? Then the jacks from the Wii go into the back of the modulator?

    rayandtoni:
Thank you because I have no idea what that is. Can you also tell us how to hook it up? Yes, we do have a modem.

    rayandtoni:
There is no box that hooks up to the monitor. It is simply a cable (probably coax ?) that comes out of the wall. We have cable to several rooms in the house where there are TVs and/or computers.

    jyackle5:
No. You can look now if you would like. You also might need a 1 foot piece of coaxal cable if you do not have any. You can get that at the same time you get the Rf modulator.

    jyackle5:
The wire by the red white and yellow is the plug it needs to be pluged in to work.

    jyackle5:
The plug is what turns it on when you turn on the WIiI to over ride the cable in. And yes you have it right. the cable connectores is one in from wall and one out to modem.

    jyackle5:
YEs I am looking for one other way. Please hold one min.

    jyackle5:
Ok no I could not find the other thing I was looking for. They might not make it yet.

    jyackle5:
No the modulator will not damage the WII or the computer. My son and I use one right now for his WII, Playstation 2 and Xbox 360.

    jyackle5:
No. I think you are good. Have I anwsered all your questions. Or do you have anymore that I can help you with.

    jyackle5:
Ok that is fine. Please ask if you need help. You have a good night and please close the chat when you are done.

    jyackle5:
    Your welcome

    rayandtoni:
Thank you once again for your patience. You have been very helpful.

    rayandtoni:
I think you have answered all of the questions I can think of right now. Of course, once we get the modulator and try to put it together we may have more.

    rayandtoni:
Sounds great - any further input?

    rayandtoni:
Please let me know if something else comes up. I am assuming the modulator will not cause damage to the Wii or my computer?

    rayandtoni:
    Of course!

    rayandtoni:
OK - you have been so-------- patient. If it is not obvious, I know nothing about this stuff but am determined to get it hooked up. Is there anything else you think I should know?

    rayandtoni:
Do you mean an electrical plug? Why two cable connectors? I guess one goes from wall to modulator and the other from modulator to modum?

    rayandtoni:
Thanks - I found it - it looks like it has two cable connectors and some other kind of wire besides the red, yellow and green?

I want to be able to ensure that my Dating and Chat subscriptions are terminated at the end of their Terms. Do I have to contact each one separately? Can I do it through my bank?

Just check the sites when your subscription is supposed to be run out. They usually do not drop out of the systems until midnite of the day of expiration. Your bank can't really do anything unless an unautorized charge is made.

I removed webcam software how to get it back download driver??

Sometimes when a driver is not listed on the web page where it's supposed to, you can chat with a live tech. I have done this on trying to get the driver for an internal tv tuner on my laptop but it was not listed. The chat tech was able to give me a direct download link to the files i needed and it fixed my problem. Here is the link to the chat tech on the HP website. http://h50203.www5.hp.com/HPISWeb/Customer/AdviceDisclaimer.aspx?option=activechat&origin=acc&pnid=&printermodel=&chat=&region=&callfrom=null&ctype=c&pl=KV

I have Quicken 2009 and Windows Vista, HP Printer

I've tried off and on for a year to try to get assistance from Quicken and HP because my Quicken reports would not print. Everything else printed just fine. It was so frustrating because nothing worked. I needed to get reports to my accountant and thought I was just going to have to hand write the reports. In the end, I took a photo of the screen (with the report showing), downloaded the photo to the computer, tweeked it a bit with my photo software, then prrinted it. How goofy is this to get a report from a program that is supposed to make my life easier???!!!
