Cannot get rear aux input source to work on pioneer deh-p6800mp. no option in function to able/disable that function. also would like to know the name of the type of plug that is used for front aux. input...

The type of plug on the front aux is a 2.5mm plug similar to what cell phones use. You need a stereo 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter, then you can run a chord with a 3.5mm jack on both ends to an iPod or some other type of mp3 player.

Auxillary 2 function does not show up on my Pioneer DEH-P2900MP

first thing you do is turn the power off on the radio by hitting the off button . there is a button you have to hold in. it should be the volume knob. if not try some other buttons. you have to hold it in for about 4 seconds. then a menu should come up. if you scroll though and you can turn on and off the aux . if you have any problems let me know

To listen to the aux input of the stereo you must press the source button. If you are listening to the radio it will go to CD when you press it if a cd is in the cd deck, if you keep pressing it you should get to the aux input.
