R50e"C MOS battery location is Sided of RAM.

Your existing battery will usually have some letters printed on the side ... it should say some numbers followed by AH . This is your amp hour rating and will allow you to purchase the correct battery size.

open the top key board then under this key board you located the cmos battery and jumper settings..good luck

this means you will be opening the laptop cover from under, then remove the old c-mos battery, then replace with another.

The laptop must be off, battery removed, unscrew the under laptop cover, to access the c-mos battery, and that's all.

open the side cover of cpu and you will see inside motherboard ther is one lithium cr2032 battery is there that is cmos battery.

the CMOS battery is dead. check your manual for the type and location. remove it and take it with you to a good watch shop or electronics store and they should be able to help you out.

before you take it out take note of which way up it is ! (important)

If you clear the cmos you are just loading the defalt bios settings but not solving the problem.
In this case you dont have to clear the cmos but instead replace the cmos battery.

One of three places. 1- under the battery. 2- under a panel on the bottom. 3- under the keyboard. You're looking for a large watch type battery, some are in a pouch with two wires leading to a connector. Here's a couple of links for breakdown diagrams on different make and models.
