Philips 32pw9527 TV

The picture on my Philips 32PW9527 TV is blurred, this started 2 days ago and has got prgressively worse. I have removed the back and cleaned all of the dust from the pcb's but still the same. Can you give me any pointers as to what the problem might be. Paul

Philips 34pw9818 fuzzy screen

Inside the set you should see a large part with a red wire coming out the top. That is the flyback transformer. There will be 1 or 2 controls on the back of it. One should be labeled screen and one focus. Carefully adjust the focus one until the picture is again in focus. Please note that in that area are high voltages (33,000V) that can be dangerous. Be careful where you touch. IT is best to have a mirror so you can see the picture while adjusting the focus control.

Philips 32pw9527/05 tv does not start

Generally these type of problem occurs due to atmosphere contains moisture content. Even if it happens in warm area i suspect fbt leakage. Since this is high voltage transformer it can be serviced by qualified technicians only. Red light flashes indicates the tv in protection mode to avoid severe damage due to some short circuit. Tv out of Focus

Well you did start out good, thats cool, now we have to define focus, Is ir blurry around the edges as well as the whole Picture? If it is, it could be the picture tube, A bad solder connection on the tube socket, and yes it could also be the flyback transformer.
