Zoom Problem My camera Zoom is not working anymore after the camera dropped accedently to floor. I have a centered Big bracket in the LCD display instead of the small Braket. All other functions are still working, except Zooming. Is there any software diagnose tool to fix the problem? thanks

Sorry, but there's no DIY fix for the lens problem. You can send to Kodak for repair or take it to a local shop -- but get an estimate first. In the Kodak price range you may be better off cost-wise with a replacement than a repair.

Fuji Finepix camera fault

Dropped, that's rough. As far as the lens goes, it could be damaged or jammed. The LCD however sounds broken, once the seal is lost the display needs replaced.
In any event, these are not battery related issues.

Canon PowerShot Dropped: Blank Screen

For Ravi, this definitely sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
Applicable cameras include:
A40, A60, A70, A75, A80, A85, A95, A300, A310, S1 IS, S60, S200, S230, S330, S400, S410, S500, SD100, SD110
By the way, don't tell Canon that you dropped the camera. Sounds like the CCD imager was about to go bad anyway, and the drop just accelerated this.

That is weird. Is the lens cocked? Also sometimes when you zoom, you get an "aiming" bracket that is off center that has to do with the spot metering.
