Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I open the settings on my new Sanyo-av FWBP505F. We can pull it up on the TV screen but cannot get into it.

Press the Home button on the Blu-ray player remote. Then use the left/right arrows to select Settings (the icon with the gears). Then press OK (in the center of the arrow keys). Use the left/right arrows to select the category you want to work with and press OK again. Inside of the category sub-menu, use the up/down arrows to navigate the options and press OK to access a specific one. This is shown on page 31 of the manual.

The manual for the FWBP505F is available from Sanyo on the product site: http://sanyo-av.com/product/product.php?id=542 . Click on the Downloads link; it's currently the second link. The direct link to the Owner's manual appears as http://www.funaiport.com/download/download.php?id=4044&brand=SANYO in my history today.

I hope this helps. If you are using a universal remote, check that the code you have supplied correctly matches the needed buttons. If you are using the original remote for the FWBP505F, do you have problems with the unit responding to other button presses? If so, you may need a replacement remote. You may be able to order a replacement from Sanyo support here: Parts@sanyo-av.com or call 800-877-5032 . The model number for the remote is
NC088UH . I have found a few other sites that claim to have the remote. One source is https://www.remotes.com/sanyo-p/sanyo-nc088uh.htm .

Lost remote for tv.can it work without?

Without the remote, you should be able to perform basic tasks, such as:
-change volume level
-change progamme
-turn the tv on/off
-possibly access AV or other inputs

if your tv has a MENU button on it, then you will be able to perform more complex tasks and you may even be able to tune it in etc.

Alternatively, you can purchase a universal remote control that can be programmed to use with your tv.

My remote for my Orion tv quit working. I purchased a Universal remote but it does not have an AV/TV button. How can I access the AV ports without a remote or is there a replacement remote I can use?

Hello

You just buy one [CISCO-6400 ] Universal remote control to which your Orion TV is listed in its codes, and have all the buttons you need. Just go for it. It is a good one I thinks. Codes for Orion are:- 1023_1033_1107.
Keep trace with its manual to alaigh the remote to your TV.
OK.
