This printer does not come alone with the IP address setting, it must be connected to a PC with specific IP and then share the printer to the network. So u can set IP address of the PC with printer with any available IP address depends on your IP provider.

Look into more details for How to share your printer in following link (availability 2009Oct06): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814005

SOURCE: Problem in configuring IP address in Konica Minolta bizhub 210 Copier, Printer, Fax

Is there network card is installed in it, if yes then you can configure it with your network go to machine Manu in machine control panel and the in network settings here you can give the IP address and subnet mask after then reboot the machine.
If network card is no installed behind the machine then you can use its built-in USB or and parallel printer without NIC card.

SOURCE: printer unable to obtain IP address

Reset the TCP/IP information. To do so, Turn off the printer power. With the cartridge door open, hold down both cancel and continue buttons and power the printer on. Hold the buttons until the lights cycle. The TCP/IP information should be cleared. Wait a few minutes. The printer should pick up a new IP address from the network, or should set a default IP. Press the Continue button to print a new test page, and you should see the new address.

As one person suggested above, it is possible to share the printer between two machines. All you need to do is set it up as a TCP/IP printer and assign it an address (either through the DHCP server or by giving it a static IP address), then go into the two machines and add the printer as a network printer. When asked about the type of port to use, select Local TCP/IP port... and enter the IP address of the printer.

I recommend setting a reserved DHCP address through your router to insure that the printer keeps a constant address and to insure that the router does not accidentally try assigning the same address to something else and therefore cause an IP address conflict.

My printer gives me an error that the web address is wrong

is this a network printer? if so, your router may have given it a new IP address. Use the keys on the printer to find the IP address in the printer settings, and then update the IP address for the printer port in your computer.

Hp officejet 7210. When router resets, I loose my printer connection.

IS this printer wired LAN to your router? If so, look in the settings to your printer and check the IP address.

Now in the settings menu, it should have an option for you to set DLNA or manual. Set to manual. Enter the same IP address the machine originally had. If you could not find what ip address your printer had, in windows startmenu find run or command prompt and type ipconfig all.

Find the ip address for your computer. Add 10 to it. For example, if it is 192.168.0.2 than give your printer 192.168.0.12 If it asks for a subnet mask use 255.255.255.0

I believe the problem you are having is that every time your router resets it gives your printer a different ip address (dynamic IP), so your printer driver software can no longer find it. You need to use a static ip address (manually giving the printer an ip address) so it never changes and the driver can always find it.

About n/w printer

If you have the network enabled 1022 you need to find out it's current IP address. To do this press & hold the Go button on the top of the printer (the large button) for 5 - 10 seconds or until the printer starts to print. This prints out the configuration page.
The printer is set to get an IP address via DHCP from the factory, but once you have it's IP address you need to give it a static IP address. You can do this by typing the IP address into a web browser & go to the network tab. choose an IP address that has not been allocated already & apply the changes.
You will need to type the new IP address into the browser if you want access to change further settings.
You can then add the printer using the new static IP address.

It must be in DHCP mode. Do you want to set it to a static IP?
"user tools", "System settings", "Interface settings, "Network", "ip address", highlight "specify", then press the button below "ip add", set your ip, press "ok", then press "ok" again with "specify" highlighted to lock in. Exit user tools.
