Connect Onkyo CP-1020F Turntable to Theater System?

I have an old Onkyo CP-1020F Turntable. I'd like to hook it to my home theater system. Will this turntable require a pre-amp to do this since the theater system only has analog audio inputs and not a specific ''phono'' input?

Yes. It needs to have Line Level (slightly amplified or pre-amp'd) before your home theatre system can 'hear' it.

Turntables required a specific input all of their own, so you can't connect the turntable cables to any other input besides a "phonograph" or "turntable" Chances are the Sylvania Home Theater System does not have the specific turntable inputs.

You only have a USB connection. Traditional turntables cannot be simply connected. Get a USB turntable and you are all set.

Trying to hook up a turntable to my HT C5500/XAA. It's an older Technics turntable W/new stylus & Cartridge. (Correctly installed w/ground) Have tryed Accesseories input but am getting extreem low...

Sadly, it is only a Home Theater System. It is not a Audio/Video Receiver. The only possible way to get around this is to buy a converter to hook into your RCA turntable to the ASC IN Jack in the front lower left corner as you are looking at it! Sorry, I hope this will help you...

Hoe to connect Bose Lifestyle 25 Home Theater System speakers to onkyo SRX-508

Do you mean TX-SR508? The following should work even if that is not the exact model.

The LS25 supports ONLY analog stereo audio input and the speakers themselves are NOT desigend to be driven by anything BUT the LS25 electronics.

If you still want to use the LS25 as speakers just run an RCA cable pair from VCR / DVR Out on the Onkyo to the AUX IN on the LS25 Music Center.

How do i connect/play my turntable?

Hi sorry to say cant go direct.

What you can do if really want it running is get a RIAA pre amp with power supply (search google local shops). The turn table plugs into that, then that plugs into one of the analogue inputs of the Q70. That will work great if prepared for the effort!

Best of luck

Hook up

I'd connect the dish network receiver to the TV's "in" ports and then use an RCA cable to connect the TV's out ports to the onkyo home theater's in ports. It should look something like this:

DVR out -> in Sanyo 42", Sanyo 42" out -> Home theater in

Make sure you don't accidentally plug the cable into the out instead of the in as then you won't be able to hear (and possibly see) anything.
